Reporting data flow

From brokerage records to account history.

We preserve brokerage records, build account history, calculate versioned analytics and check the results. A separate publication process brings historical research to this website.

Closed fund. Not accepting outside capital.

How the reporting record is built

  1. Start with brokerage records

Interactive Brokers supplies account value, positions, cash flows, trades and profit and loss through Flex statements. These are the authoritative account records. The reporting tool reads them; it does not place orders.

  2. Preserve dated source snapshots

We retain the original statement, normalized records, statement dates and source provenance. Stored inputs make later review and rebuilding possible. A fresh fetch can replace the same day's snapshot; earlier dated snapshots remain available.

  3. Build continuous account history

Statement snapshots are combined into account histories. Consolidated groups bring member accounts together. This prepares the reporting record while keeping brokerage values as the source of truth.

  4. Calculate versioned analytics

Versioned code computes return and risk statistics from the declared history. Separately preserved market and risk-free inputs support comparisons. These calculations add analysis without replacing the brokerage records.

  5. Build dated reports and reconcile

Reports are generated from the declared inputs with an as-of date. The update process finishes with reconciliation checks across the reporting record. Failed checks are recorded and make the update unsuccessful; they are not silently treated as a clean result.

  6. Publish historical research

Publication is a separate step. A verified product release supplies historical simulations, documents and research evidence to the marketing website. Its integrity and provenance are checked during export. Account reports do not automatically become public, and the website is not a live account feed.

Two distinctions that stay visible

Actual results and historical simulation

Actual results come from brokerage records. Historical simulation comes from a separately preserved hypothetical source. Account results stay in the private reporting tool; public performance is historical simulation, not an actual brokerage result.

Private detail and public summary

Detailed account records remain protected. The website presents historical simulations and research methodology, without live fund results. The marketing website does not receive account credentials or the underlying private account records.

Important information

Corbex Funds Management operates a closed family fund for the Founder’s family capital account. We research, execute and monitor Arbiter daily. No interests are offered and no capital is solicited on this site. Nothing on this site constitutes SEC registration, review, approval, or endorsement. This site is for general information, not investment advice, a recommendation, an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Arbiter performance presented here is historical simulation, not live fund results; simulated results do not represent actual trading. Any family capital account results shown are unaudited, approximate results of private family accounts, not a fund record. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal.
